Jamopenz-H Suppository is a prescription medicine having a combination of medicines that is used to treat anal fissures. It provides relief from redness, swelling and itching. It decreases the pain sensation. It helps in softening the skin. Jamopenz-H Suppository should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. It is for external use only.Do not use this medicine more than the recommended dose. How it Works
Jamopenz-H Suppository is a combination of four medicines: Hydrocortisone, Zinc Oxide, Lidocaine, and Allantoin, that helps treat anal fissures . Hydrocortisone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Zinc Oxide has astringent and antiseptic action. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic which works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to the brain thereby decreasing pain sensation. Allantoin is a skin protectant that moisturizes and softens the skin.
