Keptop Lotion is a combination medicine that treats fungal skin infections. It kills the fungi that cause the infection and relieves itching and irritation. It also contains aloe vera that moisturizes the skin and makes it healthy.Keptop Lotion is only meant for external use and should be used as advised by your doctor. This medicine should be used regularly to get the most benefits from it. Do not use more than needed, as it will not clear the infection faster and may only increase the side effects. If it accidentally gets into the eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse with water thoroughly.This medicine is usually safe; however, it may cause burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. These side effects are usually mild and self-limiting. Serious side effects are rare.It is not likely that other medicines that are taken by mouth or injection will affect the way Keptop Lotion works. How it Works

Keptop Lotion is a combination of three medicines, aloe vera, ketoconazole, and zinc pyrithione. Aloe vera nourishes and moisturizes the skin. Ketoconazole is an antifungal medication that kills and stops the growth of fungi by destroying their cell membranes. Zinc pyrithione is also an antifungal medicine. It makes fungal cells absorb copper, which in turn disrupts protein utilization mechanisms in the cells. This is how it stops fungal growth.
