Meltide 2mg Solution is a medication used for the treatment of vitiligo. It works best when used in combination with other treatments. It stimulates the movement and growth of melanin-producing cells, called melanocytes, in white patches of skin and hair roots. This way it restores the skin color. Meltide 2mg Solution is for external use only. Use it exactly as your doctor has prescribed. The affected area should be clean and dried before application. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying this medicine. Use it regularly to get the maximum benefit. Do not use more than needed as it will not clear your condition faster and may instead cause some side effects. If your condition goes on for longer than four weeks or gets worse at any time, let your doctor know. How it Works
Meltide 2mg Solution is a repigmenting agent. It works by causing migration of skin cells (melanocytes) from the area of skin surrounding the vitiligo patch. This in turn causes the production of melanin (skin darkening pigment) and restores the skin color.
