About this Medicine
PD Lyte M Infusion is a combination medicine prescribed to treat fluid replacement due to trauma and heavy blood loss. It replenishes the body fluid, such as salts and electrolytes, and prevents dehydration. PD Lyte M Infusion is given by a doctor or a nurse. Do not self-administer this medicine at home. The doctor will decide the dose and duration based on the severity of our condition.Inform your doctor if you are taking any medicine or have any known allergy from this medicine. The medicine is generally safe with little or no side effects. However, some people may experience nausea or vomiting. If you are bothered, consult with your doctor.
How it Works
PD Lyte M Infusion is a combination of five medicines: Sodium Metabisulphite, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Acetate, Dextrose and Potassium Chloride which replenish salt and electrolyte levels.
