Perfocyn Ear Drop is a combination medicine that is used to treat ear infections. It prevents the growth of the bacteria that cause infection in the ears. It also relieves the symptoms of inflammation such as redness, itchiness, and irritation. Perfocyn Ear Drop is to be used as per the instructions given in the label or as suggested by your doctor. Use it only on the affected ear. Use it regularly to get the most benefit. The course of the medicine should be completed even if you feel better. Wash your hands before administering the medicine. Do not use it more than the recommended dose.Generally, this is a safe medicine. However, it may cause mild and temporary irritation in the ear. Consult your doctor if any side effects persist or worry you. If you experience any allergic reaction (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.), you must seek immediate medical help.Before using it, tell your doctor if you have an underlying disease or are taking medicines for any health condition. How it Works

Perfocyn Ear Drop is a combination of two medicines: Chloramphenicol and Prednisolone. Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth in the ear by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Prednisolone is a steroid. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the ear red, swollen and itchy.
