Revac Adult Injection is a prescription medicine. This combination of three vaccines is used to prevent Hepatitis B infection. It stimulates the immune system to act against microorganisms to prevent such infections. Revac Adult Injection is to be administered by a healthcare professional. It may cause redness, pain, and swelling at the site of injection. However, this is temporary and usually resolves on its own. Do not skip any doses and follow your doctor’s instructions carefully to get maximum benefit.Revac Adult Injection is generally safe to use with minimal side effects. However, it may cause a few side effects such as tiredness, and flu-like symptoms. Please consult your doctor if these do not subside or bother you. How it Works
Revac Adult Injection is a combination of two vaccines: Hepatitis B Vaccine (rDNA) and Aluminium Hydroxide which prevent Hepatitis B, and Thiomersal as the preservative. Hepatitis B Vaccine (rDNA) vaccine helps develop immunity by initiating a mild infection. This type of infection does not cause illness but stimulates the body's immune system to produce antibodies (proteins) to protect against any future infections. Aluminium Hydroxide is an adjuvant which enhances the effectiveness of Hepatitis B Vaccine (rDNA) vaccine.
