About this Medicine
S-Bon Sachet is used to treat or prevent weakening of the bones (osteoporosis) caused by menopause or use of steroids. Using this medicine can reduce your risk of breaking bones. S-Bon Sachet should be taken in an empty stomach. Swallow it as a whole, do not crush or break it. Use it regularly and at the same time of each day to get the most benefit from the medicine. Do not stop taking it suddenly without talking to your doctor.Using of S-Bon Sachet may cause few side effects such as headache, indigestion, heartburn, diarrhea and pain in the joints, bone or muscle. It may decrease the amount of calcium in your body. Take calcium-rich food in your diet and have regular blood tests to monitor the level of calcium in your blood. If you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant or have kidney disease, inform your doctor before taking the medicine.

S-Bon Sachet is a bisphosphonate specially developed in jelly form for elderly patients. It works by suppressing the activity of bone-destroying cells (osteoclasts). Jelly form offers ease of swallowing for the elderly, avoids the risk of ulcers in food pipe and reduces other side effects.
